The purpose of the Arbour Meadows Homeowners' Association is to enhance the quality of life for neighborhood residents and maintain property values for homeowners within the subdivision.
AMHA is responsible for maintaining commons areas including the pond, drainage basins and swales, neighborhood playground and walking trails. The Association distributes periodic newsletters and sponsors activities such as neighborhood cleanup days, yard sales and so on. The Arbour Meadows Prairie And Landscape was named the Preservation and Conservation Associations (PACAs) 2002 winner of the Landscape Heritage Award.

Membership
All property owners within the subdivision are members of the Arbour Meadows Homeowners' Association (AMHA). The annual assessment is $105 for a single-family home; assessments are pro-rated for owners of partial lots (Zero Lot Line duplexes, tri-plexes, etc.). Dues statements are mailed to property owners of record in the late winter of each year.

AR aerial
Meetings
AMHA's annual homeowner/resident meeting is usually held in November. At the November meeting, Homeowners' Association Board members and officers are elected. Any Arbour Meadows homeowner is eligible to run for a seat on the Board.

The all-volunteer AMHA Board meets monthly - usually on the second Tuesday of the month, at 7 p.m., at the home of one of the Board members.

Residents and property owners are welcome to attend the monthly Board meetings. For further information and to confirm the date/time/location of the next meeting contact AMHA Secretary Joyce Amacher.

Architectural Committee
The AMHA Architectural Committee reviews plans for permanent exterior structures including fences, room additions, patios and decks, etc.

Homeowners or residents who are planning these kinds of improvements, or other major changes to the exterior of their property, should contact Architectural Committee chair Chuck Smith at least three weeks before work is scheduled to begin.

Getting Involved
Some of the best ideas for improving the neighborhood come from residents who see a need - and are willing to help address that need!

If you'd like to suggest or get involved in specific projects, contact any Board member.
